Laziness

Laziness is our biggest enemy which lives with us as our very close friend. I’m calling this laziness as our close friend because all the day long we live with it. We can feel its presence every moment with us. In fact, it wouldn’t be wrong to say that we’re being guided by this close friend of ours as if this laziness and not we are our masters. We’ll do the work when our laziness is feeling a bit lazy and we’ll not do it when our indolence is active. And the most surprising thing is that we ourselves have let it rule us, our mind and our actions. So this is how I’m justifying myself when I’m calling the laziness as our best buddy.

But in fact, this is our biggest enemy. Now reason for such a thought is that it stops us from starting those small steps which actually becomes the initial steps of our greatest achievements. But no we are very lazy to start any deal.

We all are full of creativity and original contents but is residing deep within us. Again we are very lethargic to spend some time exploring our creativity, our hidden talents, our strengths, our weaknesses and finally overcoming them.

Many a time, while lost in thought, we get a raw idea which is actually a thought seed. This thought seed, if is nourished well, can yield a brilliant thought and plans. But we are too lazy to notice it, develop this seed through a brain storming stage and let it turn into an awesome tree. (This is my personal experience. :( )

We are too lazy to stand up and fight against the injustice being done to us.

We are too lazy to do our duty honestly.

We are too lazy to think and fight for our rights.

We are too lazy to question the corrupt people. (I guess most of the people are not even aware of any such law like ‘Right To Information’.)

We are too lazy to start the journey of our success, progress and happiness.

We all want to change the system and to have fair practices but at the same time, we are very lazy to take any lead, any initiative for it.

We let the things happen the way they are regardless of the fact that we all are discontented with it.

But why is this so…?? Why don’t we break all our relationships with this evil, cruel, best buddy known as laziness when it is doing so much harm to us…?? The answer is that we are very lazy… :O This whole thing forms a viscous circle which needs to be broken at some point.

PS: This whole content is based upon my personal experiences and emotions. Now that I've become very irritated with my own indolence, I decided to write a blog post on it which can inspire me from time-to-time to be active and spontaneous. Just hoping that it works for me as well as for my readers.

May God bless all. :))
